During the Easter Half Term, we are holding a holiday club at Ainslie Wood Primary School. This will be run by Omega Sportz who will provide lots of activities such as science experiments, sports, crafts and dance. There will be a bouncy castle as well as a hot meal. At Ainslie Wood Primary School, we love to embrace the many different cultures and backgrounds of our children. This is why we are excited to announce that we are having a Global Discovery Day on Tuesday 1st April. We have planned a variety of activities for our children to take part in which encourage curiosity and creativity while the children explore different aspects of geography. Please see the letter attached below for further information about the traditional clothing the children can wear on this day.
We are excited to announce the return of our annual Easter Disco which will be taking place on Thursday 27th March! Please see the letter below for more information.
We will be celebrating Comic Relief on Friday 21st March 2025 with a fabulous Back to the 80s theme! We invite all children to come to school wearing their best 1980s outfits. They can wear anything inspired by the 80s, such as leg-warmers, neon colours, big hair and denim jackets! We would be very grateful if you are able to donate £1. All donations raised will go towards Comic Relief to help those in need across the UK and beyond. All children will be encouraged to take part in activities throughout the day, making it as enjoyable as possible. We look forward to seeing everyone in their outfits!
On Monday 10th March we will be taking part in the Times Tables Rock Stars event. The children are invited to come to school dressed as a Rock Star! Please see the letter attached for more information.
After school on Thursday 6th March we will be having a book, cake & pre-loved uniform sale to celebrate World Book Day.
Please come along and grab yourself a bargain whilst supporting our AWP to raise funds for our new school playground.
On Thursday 6th March we will be dressing up as our favourite book characters for World Book Day. We look forward to seeing our children (and staff) in a wonderful array of costumes. On this day we will also be having a special World Book Day menu for the children to enjoy.
On Friday 15th November the theme for Children in Need is 'Make Life Lighter' so at Ainslie Wood we are getting involved by coming to school in our comfiest clothes (no PJ's please). If you are able to, please bring a small donation of £1. Thank you
